Terms and Conditions on Program of Bonus Points Accumulation |
|
To thank all Minsheng credit cardholders of our bank for their big support and favor, our bank promote a program of "Enjoying Gifts by Bonus Points" (hereinafter referred to as "the Program"). The master cardholder of the Minsheng credit cards can exchange bonus points from using Minsheng credit cards to consume for many rewards such as gifts, air mileages, coupons etc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Rewards"). The following are specific terms and conditions for all participants of the Program to abide by: |
¢ñparticipation requirements
1. The Program applies to master cardholders (hereinafter referred to as "the cardholder")of VISA card, MasterCard card, Union Pay card, Platinum card, Gold card, Classic card and all kinds of Co-branded cards (hereinafter referred to as "the Credit Cards") issued by China Minsheng Banking. The affiliated cardholder can not join the Program without the co-participation of the master cardholder. All consumption points accumulated by affiliated cardholder will be automatically counted into the master card account. The Program does not apply to other credit cards issued by our bank without special notifications.
2. When the credit cardholder exchanges bonus points for the Rewards according to the terms and conditions of this Program, the master cardholder and its affiliated cardholder will lose qualifications to join the Program and the accumulated bonus points will become invalid if :
a) the credit card is refused to pay, terminated, or the account is frozen or nullified;
b) the overdue arrearage is not paid, or the minimum repayment amount of the latest month is not paid, or other debt obligations in our bank are not fulfilled;
c) "Minsheng Credit Card Application Agreement "and the terms and conditions of this Program or other relative regulations are violated;
d) the cardholder does not apply within the validity period of the Program (based on the date of the postmark on the application form or that of fax). If c) mentioned above happens, the cardholder can only continue to join the Program after repaying all due amount including late fees and interests and getting permits from our bank, and his consumption points may be restored in our bank's discretion |
¢òGuidance for Bonus Points Accumulation
1. Spending 1 RMB with the Minsheng credit card makes 1bonus point, and 1 US dollar 8 bonus points. The accumulated points generated from consumption will become valid in the following day of the post day
2. If you have two or more credit cards, all the consumption points from different credit cards will be counted together; the accumulated points of the master card and the affiliated card are also counted into the account of the master card; for some Co-Branded credit cards, consumption points are not counted together expect there is special notification.
3. Our bank will adjust the bonus points according to the reimbursement amount arising from your refunding the purchased goods or services or from some disputes in consumption bill or from other reasons.
4. Our bank reserves the right to amend exchange standard of the accumulated points. |
¢ó The validity period of accumulated bonus points
1. Bonus points accumulated from Minsheng credit cards are permanently valid and will be kept in the account of the master cardholder until the account is nullified. As long as the credit card or the account is in the normal status, the master cardholder can exchange the "exchangeable points" for the Rewards.
2. The accumulated bonus points only apply to the Program, which will not become part of the assets of the credit cardholder before getting the Rewards from exchanging. The cardholder cannot transfer the accumulated points to other cardholders or anyone else, and such transfer is deemed as invalid by our bank. Without permission of our bank, the accumulated bonus points cannot be exchanged for cashes or be used to pay other items other than the Rewards. |
¢ôthe applicable scope of accumulated bonus points
The credit cardholder can accumulate bonus points by using Minsheng credit cards to consume, buy goods by mail order or to pay installments. But in the following situations points cannot be accumulated:
1.the annual fee charge of the credit card, the circular credit interests, the service charge and interests of cash advance, the fees generated from overdue payment (such as contractual fine and interests), and other service charges stipulated in "Minsheng Credit Card Application Agreement ";
2. transactions of cash advance or claiming return of overpaid money at the counters or at ATMs of our bank or other banks;
3.consumptions in merchants of real estate, all kinds of automobiles, fuel shops, automatic fuel selling machines, aviation facilities and agriculture tools as well as other whole sale businesses;
4.payment for some public services such as telecommunications, pay televisions, drinking waters or electricity;
5. payment for lottery, hospitals, schools and government services;
6. consumptions in non-profit oriented sectors such as government loans and charities;
7. as for situations other than those mentioned above, our bank will give another notification. |
¢õ. Inquiry of bonus points accumulated
The credit cardholder can inquire accumulated points through:
1. checking the back of each Statement of Account of your credit card where the newly accumulated bonus points, adjusted points and rewarded points of the current account, as well as the total accumulated points on the due date;
2. dialing our credit card customer service hotline at 800-810-8008 or 95568;
3.logging on our bank's homepage at http://www.cmbc.com.cn or our credit card website at http://creditcard.cmbc.com.cn.
¢ö Exchange of bonus points
1. All the goods and services offered in this handbook are valid from July 1st, 2006 to June 30th, 2008. If our bank ends in advance or extends the validity period, then the latest notification shall be referred.
2. When points are accumulated to some amount in the credit card, then the master cardholder can exchange the "exchangeable points" in his or her account for corresponding rewards according to relevant terms and conditions. The accumulated points will be deducted correspondingly after you have conducted exchanges. And the cardholder cannot ask for changing or restoring the exchanged points.
3. All kinds of reward items, exchange standard and exchange terms and conditions are base upon the latest announcement or catalogue of the reward program. Some goods are limited in amount and will not be offered once all of them are exchanged.
4. You cannot ask for exchanging gifts if you have missed the validity period of the reward program.
5. The credit cardholder can logon our credit card website at http://creditcard.cmbc.com.cn to apply for exchange or fill in the "Exchange Application Form" affiliated in this handbook and send it to the credit card center of our bank by mail or fax. Once the application is successfully processed, the corresponding bonus points will be deducted from the credit card account in the following day.
6. After the credit cardholder has successfully applied, the credit card center of our bank or the designated suppliers of the goods and services will send the gifts to the applicant. Three means of delivery will be offered depending on the gift content and the delivery capability of the supplier: door-to-door delivery service, mailing package or envelop.
¢÷Special statement on the Rewards
1. The suppliers of the Rewards will supply goods according to the supply and demand change of the market. When the goods supply lacks, alternative goods with equivalent value will be offered, or this kind of goods will not be supplied any more.
2. At any time our bank has the right to change the suppliers of the rewarded goods or services without advance notifications.
3. All goods shown on the Minsheng credit card website or the bonus points accumulation handbook shall be based on the actual ones. If you have any problem about the type or function of the goods, please call the customer service hotline of the corresponding supplier. Please pay attention before you choose the goods. Upon receiving the goods, the cardholder shall open the package to check the appearance of the goods. If you find any damage on the appearance, you can straightly ask the sender to replace new ones. Once you sign the package, you cannot refund or replace the goods except for quality problem.
4. If there is any problem concerning goods quality or after-sale service, the goods or services supplier will be responsible for solving the problem. Our bank will help the credit cardholder to contact with the goods supplier. If the exchanged goods are damaged during the delivery or have some flaws in themselves, then the cardholder can call the customer service hotline of the supplier within seven days after receiving goods to ask for replacement or refund. But please make sure that you keep the original package, the affiliated instruction and relative materials of the goods when you ask for replacement. No refunds or exchanges are allowed except for the problems mentioned above.
5. The tax generated from redeeming goods shall be paid by the cardholder.
6. Please use the redeemed coupons before the expiry date stated on them, or you can not return or continue to use the coupons once they are invalid.
7. If you pay part amount of the goods by bonus points, the left amount will be paid by your credit card account.
8. Normally after the credit cardholder has successfully applied for exchange, we need seven working days to process the application and only after the order mail is confirmed, the goods supplier will send the goods to the cardholder. If the bank or the supplier does not manage to complete its due work, the bank will help the cardholder to handle it no matter whether it is blamed on the bank or not, anyway, the bank shall not be responsible for it.
¢ø. Legal relations
All the goods and services stated in this program are offered directly by the designated suppliers to the cardholder. Our bank has no relations of partner, distributor, agency or co-seller, advertiser or guarantor with the suppliers. If the cardholder has any problems concerning the goods or services and after sale services offered by suppliers, the suppliers should bear all responsibility for this.
¢ù Amendment and termination
Our bank reserves the right to interpret all clauses stipulated in this program and has the right to cancel this program or amend the terms and conditions specified in this program. All notifications about this program will take effect after announcement by relevant media of our bank, such as the Statement of Account, auto-voice system of telephone banking, newspapers or websites of different outlets of our bank. Other unstated matters in this program shall be dealt with according to "Minsheng Credit Card Application Agreement "and relevant laws.
