Therefore we have made this regulation to completely avoid the problem of false claiming. This regulation may bring you possible inconvenience, but comparatively speaking, it has guaranteed the card safety, which is much more important. We sincerely apologize for bringing you inconvenience if there is any and we hope you can fully understand us.
2¡¢Why can't I use office telephone to activate my credit card?
That is because many companies use one telephone exchange with many extensions and all the working staff use the same phone number so that it is still unsafe to use office telephone. We sincerely apologize for bringing you inconvenience if there is any.
3¡¢Why can't I activate credit card by using mobile phone? How to deal with it?
That some people may not be able to activate credit card through mobile phone mainly results from the press button problem of the mobile phone. That is to say, although you have input all the information following the voice prompts, you haven't really successfully input complete information because of the press button problem of your mobile phone and thus the actually sent message to us is incomplete (For example, you seem to have input all the 15 numbers of your ID card, but actually you have just sent several numbers to us, which will lead to data discrepancy and failure in activation.)
The solution to this problem is to try until you have successfully activated your credit card; or use your home telephone at your convenience to activate it; or call our customer service representative through the mobile phone or home telephone filled in your application form to ask for human-aided activation. We sincerely apologize for bringing you inconvenience if there is any
4. Payment Methods of Minsheng Credit Card
1. Auto pay
1) apply for auto pay service when filling in the Minsheng Credit Card application form;
2) apply for "appointed payment service" at our bank's counter;
3) fill in the "Application of Auto Payment in Minsheng two-in-one Debit Card" which is on the last page of the "Minsheng Credit Card Manual" and mail this page to : Service Center, P.O.Box 100038-11, Beijing;
4) call our bank's customer service hotline at 95568, press 8 to choose "credit card business" and set the payment method by yourself or by manual assistance through self-service voice system.
2. Payment over the counter
1) payment in cash: go to our bank's counter to pay in cash
2) payment by transfer: transfer money from your current deposit account or debit card of our bank to pay
3) payment by cheque:
the cheque must be your legal income from salaries or service charges;
certificate documents stipulated by the People's Bank of China must be offered if the cheque amount reaches 1000 RMB.(please ask counter personnel of our bank outlets for more details.)
3. Payment by self-service facilities
1) deposit cashes or transfer accounts at ATMs of our bank to pay;
2) use cross-bank transfer at Union Pay ATMs to pay (At present, you can use ATMs to conduct cross-bank transfer in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Wuhan, Nanjing, Shenyang, Tianjin, Hangzhou, Dalian, Fuzhou, Jinan, Kunming and Chongqing. Please ask local banks for more details.): insert your Union Pay card into Union Pay ATM, input your password to be confirmed, choose "account transfer", input 16 numbers of your Minsheng Credit Card, input the amount you want to transfer, confirm "transaction" and at last get your credit card back and print transaction voucher after successfully completing transaction.
4. Payment by transfer over counters of other banks
1) cross-bank transfer payment within the same city;
2) cross-bank remittance payment in other cities;
3) pay in cashes at the counters of Shenzhen Development Bank, China CITIC Bank and Guangdong Development Bank;
At remittance place with our bank's outlets, please remit to: Business Department of our bank's local branches;
